LAST CHANCE TO SEE “THE PROGRESS OF LOVE” EXHIBITION at the MENIL COLLECTION, TEXAS. UP TILL SUNDAY 17th MARCH 2013

LAST CHANCE TO SEE “The Progress of Love” exhibition at The Menil Collection, Houston Texas which closes Sunday 17th March 2013.

The Progress of Love is an amazing exhibition that explores the nature of love from an African Perspective. The show has taken place at three venues simultaneously: CCA Gallery in Lagos, The Pulitzer Foundation in St Louis and also The Menil Collection in Texas.

I’m very proud of being commissioned by the Menil Collection (one of my favourite ever museums) to produce a video installation and documentary project called Eaten By The Heart which explores love performances and heartbreak amongst Africans and Diasporans. The 62 minute kissing film I made is up at the Menil. There are a multitude of phenomenal artists taking part and I urge you see this unique collection of works. There is also a beautiful catalogue which is not only visually stimulating but a fascinating read. Please also visit the project site for more information about this seminal show: www.theprogressoflove.com
