The mixed media exhibit features work by 25 African artists and those of African descent, whose art somehow relates to the overarching theme of masks and masquerade. Some of the mediums of the works include photography, found objects, video projections, neon lights, sound immersions, and sculptures. One of the artists from this exhibit to keep an eye out for is Zina Saro-Wiwa, a Nigerian-born photographer and film-maker. Two of her photo series are featured in the Disguise exhibition – The Invisible Man and Men of the Ogele.
